On their behalf, Summit Search Group is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager. In this role you will be responsible for complete oversight and management of all aspects of the global supply chain, to improve operations and maximize profitability by driving continuous improvement and best-in-class execution that maximizes customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Drive increased inventory turns, reduced cycle times and improved customer OTD by developing, implementing, and managing material replenishment processes.
• Manage the freight and logistics process and relationships Create strategic alliances with mission critical partners/suppliers.
• Ensures quick resolution of shipping discrepancies, supplier returns, receiving errors, and invoice errors and authorizes all inventory adjustments.
• Evaluate price trends, new product launches and product availability for cost improvement.
• Oversee vendor identification and selection.
• Develop supplier performance metrics and KPI’s, including supplier quality, delivery, cost, stock-rates, and inventory turn performance.
• Negotiate and oversee the negotiation of purchase contracts.
• Participate in the product development process.
• Actively participate in Sales forecasting and planning by providing analysis on material supply constraints and overall inventory performance
• Continuously monitor and balance supply and demand, setting and monitoring inventory policy, proactively identifying constraints and challenges and developing solutions to mitigate impacts, while keeping internal customers clearly informed of developments.
• Manage and proactively plan the flow of inbound materials to meet the demand plans, including considering warehouses, partners, and 3rd party supplies.
• Manage the day-to-day process for the timely and accurate supply planning, purchasing and delivery of products to meet demand plans.

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Education in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance or a related discipline.
• 7+ years experience in a supply chain role in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years in a direct management role.
• Experience using supplier performance management best-practices to drive supplier continuous improvement.
• Direct experience implementing lean concepts (Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work).
