Senior Process Analyst (Supply Chain Data Analyst)
Are you looking for a role where you can apply your expertise in supply chain data analytics, multivariant statistical data modelling, forecasting, operational planning, reporting and business process improvement? Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain, you will be an integral part of the Supply Chain Strategy and Continuous Improvement team, focusing on providing technical, analytical and reporting support to supply chain operations. You will also participate in supporting continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve customer service.
If you have demonstrated experience in supply chain data analytics using database management systems, a solid background in supply chain operations and love a different challenge every day, then this is the role for you!

About The Role

• Contribute analysis and decision support by process mapping, simulation, benchmarking and score carding
• Assist in the research, selection, and implementation of new software products, including participating in testing and documentation
• Analyze operational processes and make recommendations to improve performance and reduce cost
• Monitor, analyze, and report on supply chain productivity and financial results
• Develop and maintain databases, complex multivariant statistical data models, promotional forecasting models, ETL processes and supply chain dashboards using SQL Server, Python, R, and Power BI
• Analyze, interpret, and communicate operational and process analysis information via periodic reporting, ad hoc studies, and presentations
• Conduct data analysis, provide insights to decision makers and implement business solutions to improve product flow and operational efficiency across the LCBO supply chain
• Travel within the Greater Toronto Area required

About You

• Knowledge of complex value analysis methodologies, financial concepts related to ABC costing analysis, and operational efficiency measurement techniques
• Post-secondary education in Data Analytics, Statistic, Business Studies, Supply Chain Management (or Industrial Engineering) together with related experience
• Expert knowledge and experience using MS Office particularly Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Power BI
• Demonstrated and relevant 2+ years of experience in retail supply chain operations, analytics, forecasting and modelling
• Demonstrated 3+ years of experience in developing multivariant statistical data models, promotional forecasting, data analytics, and automated dynamic dashboards using SQL, SQL Server, SSIS, Python, R, Power BI, excel, and MS Access
• Demonstrated medium/large project management experience
• Highly effective communications skills – both verbal and written
