Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain Replenishment


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Replenishment, the Sr. Supply Chain Replenishment Analyst will provide analytical support for PO creation, PO tracking, ocean lead analysis/trends, expediting, and maintenance of the Distribution Centre (DC) operations. You will focus your analytical abilities to monitor inventory and forecasting to ensure service level, inventory investment, sales and purchasing revenue are achieved. You will provide training to new colleagues and new procedures to the team. With your knowledge of multiple categories, you will provide special project support and coverage to multiple replenishment desks within 3 Apparel Supply Chain areas: SDM, Inline, and Seasonal.


What You'll Do:


  • Undertake process improvement efforts, projects and new initiatives to drive efficiency and improve KPI’s
  • Vendor Management, ensuring all forecast and flow requirements are executed to defined targets/standards
  • Act as a subject matter expert for special projects relevant to the Apparel Replenishment team
  • Facilitate Forecasting, Order Review / Inventory Management, Replenishment, Assortment and Sales Analysis, and manage relationships with domestic Suppliers (LCL and SDM)
  • Will be knowledgeable across all categories of the team and have a clear understanding of processes to provide support, to new colleagues, and coverage while colleagues are away
  • Work with cross-functional teams to co-ordinate flow of goods through the network
  • Exemplify the Company’s core values and Blue Concepts in all aspects of the role
  • Work with the DC to ensure there are no issues with Inbound/Outbound volume.
  • Ensure all data management pertaining to forecasts, product and vendor attributes are maintained
  • Attend and participate in category meetings with limited direction from your managers
  • Provide support to the new Supply Chain Replenishment Analysts by providing training and guidance and answering questions their questions in a timely manner
  • PO creation and PO tracking all the way from vendor to store to ensure on-time delivery


What You'll Need:


  • 2-3 years’ experience in the retail/wholesale grocery business would be an asset
  • Strong understanding of apparel supply chain operations (both Seasonal and Inline commodities)
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Excel
  • To have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be flexible to work weekends on a rotational basis
  • To be adaptable and flexible when it comes to training new colleagues
  • Previous experience with SAP, IPFR, and JDA is an asset
  • Must be capable of working in a team-oriented environment
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Economics, Engineering or Marketing
  • Detail oriented and be able to handle multiple priorities in a faced-paced environment
