Director Supply Chain Jobs

Enwave Energy Corporation has retained Lakeshore Human Capital to recruit a new Director of Supply Chain. This role will report to the CFO and have enterprise responsibility for the supply chain function.

THE POSITION

Reporting to the CFO, the Director of Supply Chain will be a key member of the Finance team, responsible for leading the organization in planning and execution of supply chain strategies and initiatives.This role will be focused on demand and supply planning, logistics, and the S&OP.Enwave is seeking a hardworking individual who is passionate about new district energy systems and decarbonizing and has a desire to play an active role in the transition to clean energy.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

·Continue to develop and enhance the vision, business processes and strategy of Enwave’s Supply Chain to foster excellence in its performance.

·Conceptualize and develop strategies for material planning and inventory management.

·Lead the conceptualization and execution of Sourcing projects through project management methodologies.

·Oversee the allocation of interdepartmental resources to execute Sourcing projects, by collaborating with the Leadership team and key business groups.

·Oversee the Supplier Relationship Management process with focus on mediating any opportunities in level of service, on-time delivery, and quality.

·Oversee and define strategies to minimize cost impacts for the organization.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

·10+ of years of business experience with at least 5 years of relevant Supply Chain/Procurement experience.

·3+ years of management experience.

·Experience having worked in at least one of the following industries: Construction, Energy, or Manufacturing.

Experience in the new district energy systems and decarbonizing environments would be preferred but not mandatory.

·Highly analytical and data driven, results oriented, hands on, creative and detail-oriented leader.

·Ability to objectively evaluate different supplier’s capabilities and have a strong negotiating skillset.

·Proven track record of improving the supply chain function and identifying cost savings.

·Advanced proficiency in ERP systems for purchasing and materials management modules.

·Ability to work in a dynamic environment which requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability.

·Ability to hire, train, coach and develop a high performing Supply Chain team.

EDUCATION

·University Degree.

·A Master’s degree and/or SCMP or related certification preferred.
