Position Overview: As the Director of Supply Chain and Partner Management, you will play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing our supply chain operations and fostering strong partnerships with key vendors and stakeholders. You will lead a talented team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure the efficient sourcing, procurement, and distribution of IT products and services. Your strategic vision, operational expertise, and ability to build and nurture relationships will contribute directly to our growth and success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams in strategic sourcing initiatives, evaluating potential vendors, conducting supplier assessments, and driving supplier performance improvement programs.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, inventory management, lead times, and cost savings, making data-driven recommendations for enhancements.
- Stay abreast of market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments that may impact the supply chain landscape.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, distributors, and partners, negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing to optimize value and ensure consistent supply.
- Drive innovation within the supply chain by identifying emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and implementing solutions to enhance operational agility and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and reliability in the sourcing and procurement processes.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including IT, finance, operations, and sales, to understand demand forecasts, identify opportunities for process improvement, and streamline operations.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies to manage potential disruptions in the supply chain, such as geopolitical events, market fluctuations, and natural disasters.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of supply chain professionals, setting performance goals, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business priorities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, procurement, or related roles within the IT services and procurement industry.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD) are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, as well as experience with ERP and procurement systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing supply chain challenges.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make informed decisions.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing supply chain strategies that result in cost savings, operational efficiency, and improved supplier relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and best practices.
