WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a experienced Supply Planning Manager who can lead the master data team and improve supply planning activities.
This role will be based out of our Toronto Location.
WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
  • Continuously pursue improved effectiveness and efficiency of supply planning processes through performance management of all related KPI’s
  • Understand supply chain technology tools and system landscape that enable improved operational visibility, performance and data availability
  • Be responsible for generation of advanced analytics reports/tools/dashboards from complex and often discrete data from multiple sources, including but not limited to Supply Stock Tracker, PO Tracker, Inventory Turnover, Purchase Projection, Safety Stock calculation, Inventory projection, and all exception reports needed from business
  • Lead the Master Data team to Identify, analyze, report / resolve data issues related to uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency and completeness to support business reporting requirements
  • Liaise with IT for new system and application implementation and provide testing, training and SOPs
  • Reporting into the Head of Supply Planning, the Supply Planning Manager – Analytics and Master Data is responsible for all Supply Planning related analysis, providing business insights by analyzing and interpreting data and results, managing new system and application integration projects, creating dashboards and reports, and leading Master Data team to ensure data accuracy and data integrity
  • Develop KPIs and strategies to improve overall functional and technical knowledge of internal team members
  • Create dashboards in Power BI, interpret data and results, and provide business insights that will drive improvements. Continuously identify and eliminate process gaps, and develop solutions to implement improvements in supply chain network
  • Develop and implement supply planning strategies to improve the operation efficiency and productivity
  • Conduct data analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvements
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE
  • Exceptionally strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel. Advanced Access, Power BI, and/ or SQL knowledge preferred
  • System and data knowledge of MRP and Materials Management modules in any ERP system. Microsoft Dynamics 365 and / or SAP knowledge is preferred
  • Certifications in Inventory Management or Supply Chain Management, such as APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred
  • 3+ years of professional experience in supply chain related role with business analysis and / or Master Data with a good understanding of overall supply chain knowledge is required and 1+ years of people management or leadership or project management experience is required
  • Proven analytical skills with strong attention to details and strong communication and presentation skills to describe business insights
