Product Manager, Data Services

Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

As a Product Manager, you will oversee all elements of product management of data solutions, to develop, commercializing, and managing products that use data to drive client value. The Product Management team's charter is to curate data and technology products.

You will collaborate with different groups across Moneris to build accurate data analytics product following Agile and product methodologies. You will be a leader of analytics and perform multiple responsibilities to support commercialization of data.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a hybrid model

Reporting Relationship: You will report to Senior Product Manager, Product and Partnerships

Your Moneris Career - What You'll Do

• Maintain visibility over project scope, schedules, and cost possible effects associated with new products, solutions or releases
• Ensure successful product launches with go-to-market activities and post-launch analysis to inform future product direction
• Identify main product success and performance metrics within assigned products and adjusting to achieve targets
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to evaluate feasibility for new product requests
• Manage, and socialize product roadmap and timelines to ensure product visibility while ensuring adherence to communicated deliverables
• Conduct market research for opportunities and analysis
• Work with third-party companies/vendors to assess partnership opportunities, and managing such relationships
• Represent existing portfolio of products with our customers, for internal and external audiences
• Identify the product's defining features/specifications and manage the product backlog (epics, features, and user stories)
• Identify and measure main success and performance metrics of product offerings within assigned platforms, and making adjustments
• Manage end-to-end product management lifecycle; from concept through to delivery of all product features. Ensure delivery of products to internal and external customers
• Develop process documentation to meet team and organizational best practices to ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met
• Promote goals and deliver work through partners (Data Science, Marketing, Sales, Data Engineering, Tech) on time and in scope through solid execution and making smart tradeoffs in a Agile environment

Your Moneris Career - What You Bring

• University degree in Business/ Commerce or a related field; or equivalent post graduation professional qualification
• Experience developing data-driven product solutions, including dashboard and reporting tools that address specific customer requirements
• Agile mindset and a product owner with experience in user needs discovery and design sprints, especially with enterprise customers and new product development and go-to-market activities
• Technical understanding preferably in the software development product life cycle, programming languages, APIs, technical architecture considered an asset
• 5+ years as a product manager to lead the best enterprise experiences, including data-driven products and features
