Reporting to the Manager, Insights & Strategy as part of the Market Engagement Excellence (MEE) team, the MCRA is an integral partner to an internal operations unit leading insights and analysis for a portfolio of brand teams. We are responsible for crafting new insights through data analysis and Market Research and applying these to the business context. Applying strong teaming and collaboration, we shape brand strategy and influence business decisions.

Key Responsibilities


  • Shape KPIs and Metrics to illuminate progress to strategic and tactical priorities.
  • Apply internal consulting skills including consultative listening, problem definition, negotiating tradeoffs, and management of internal client expectations.
  • Communicate complex information in a clear, concise, and meaningful way to add relevance and impact.
  • University degree is required, preferably in Business, Analytics or other quantitative discipline. MBA is an asset.
  • Lead multiple projects, actively prioritize effort, and proactively communicate progress.
  • Actively cultivate strong, positive, internal partnerships with cross-functional business partners.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of datasets (IQVIA, internal CRM and Patient Support System) available and perform accurate and credible analysis.
  • Maintain the highest standards of integrity and remain audit-ready with data governance and market research management.
  • Impact the strategic direction of the brand by translating data analysis and market research findings into meaningful insights and recommendations aligned to the needs of business partners.
  • Design and execute Market Research initiatives to meet business insights needs.
  • Effectively manage external partners and vendors to deliver the highest quality results.


Required


Experience and Skills:


  • Ability to cultivate productive internal relationships, inspire followership and mobilize people and teams without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to distill complex analysis into concise takeaways and tell compelling stories about analysis.
  • Strong data analysis skills including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple partners, priorities, broker trade-offs, carve through ambiguity and complexity to meet multiple demands.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in relevant areas is required.


Preferred


  • End-to-end design and execution of primary market research projects is an asset.
  • Experience in use of data visualization tools (Qlik, Tableau or PowerBI.)
  • Familiarity with omnichannel data reporting and analytics is an asset.
  • Experience of reporting and analysis of patient data generated through Patient Service Programs (PSPs) is an asset.
  • Prior marketing experience (Marketing Associate, Product Manager) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry syndicated datasets such as IQVIA is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Pre-Launch Assets and associated Market Research and forecasting is an asset.
