Title: Senior Content Specialist
Contract : 4 months with potential extension
Pay: $50/hour on T4
Location : Remote Ontario or Quebec
Your New Role
This 4-month contract is an exciting opportunity for a creative copywriter who’s passionate about innovations with a focus on health solutions. As the largest private payer of healthcare in Canada, you’ll play a primary role in communicating our innovative group benefits solutions to prospecting and existing Clients.
The candidate will work alongside internal partners to maintain our proposal content management tool up to date. Its library has more than 4,000 copies and you’ll be responsible for handling content reviews and updates in a timely fashion. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring the content follows Sun Life’s branding, writing and tone of voice principles. We’re looking for a professional with strong writing and editing skills to ensure our content stays appealing, accurate, concise and relevant.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting ad hoc writing projects.
- Managing content review and update process, translation and coordinating with internal partners if questions or concerns come up during the review process. Stakeholders include legal and compliance reviewers, subject matter experts and others.
- Editing and updating Client-facing content to be accurate, on brand and in plain language.
- Managing review and update requests coming through our proposal content management tool.
- Maintaining workload trackers so we can easily communicate updates to teams and leaders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of professional writing experience. A writing test will part of the selection process.
- Strong project-management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, literature, or related field.
- Excellent time management skills and organization skills to meet many priorities and deadlines with frequent interruptions.
- Able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple initiatives and deadlines for multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
Assets
- Experience in the group benefits, insurance, group retirement or financial industry.
- Bilingual (English/French).
