Now, we're searching for a dedicated, innovative Lead Content Strategist to join us. This is a unique opportunity to not only be part of a vibrant startup but also contribute to building the future of marketing.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Lead Content Strategist will collaborate intimately with the content strategy and production teams, guiding the journey from ideation to dissemination across SearchEye's extensive network of publishing allies. This position is responsible for steering the creation of compelling, top-tier written material and supervising the dynamics and processes within the SearchEye partner-publishing ecosystem.
Hybrid In-Office / Remote
This is a hybrid in-office / remote role, and the selected candidate will be expected to work from our office a minimum of 3 days / week.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise relationships with external partners like agencies and freelancers contributing to content creation and PR activities.
- Interact with and strengthen Searcheye’s publisher partner relationships.
- Drive strategic initiatives to improve engagement levels of 3rd party publishing partners and maximize revenues.
- Adjust the editorial calendar to include current trends, notable holidays, and pertinent subjects.
- Manage Searcheye’s editorial calendar for 3rd party publishing partners.
- Collaborate closely with other teams and departments, such as Outreach, Fulfillment, Product, and Customer Success.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in content marketing, including new content formats, distribution channels, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of content marketing and SEO, with experience in data-driven content marketing and content performance metrics.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and optimizing content team structure and processes.
- Strong leadership skills and previous experience managing a team.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with perfect spoken and written English.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and learn from failures.
- Proven track record of creating successful content programs in B2B settings.
- Efficient time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Significant experience in content strategy and storytelling.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a content management role.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience working with offshore teams (desirable).
- Experience in external communications and PR.
- Experience working in a newsroom or as a journalist.
