What you'll be doing:


Reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing, the Content Marketing Manager will play a central role in shaping and executing Forma.ai's content marketing strategy.


This position will work closely with all members of the marketing team and Forma.ai's internal subject matter experts to create more compelling, authoritative, and provocative content than any other vendor in the Sales Compensation space. You will own market research initiatives, crowdsource content from practitioners in our community, find interesting ways to repurpose our content, drive quality organic traffic to our site, and a whole lot more!


The Content Marketing Manager will directly help establish Forma.ai as the most authoritative brand and solution on the market.


As the Content Marketing Manager, you'll contribute in the following areas:


  • Master the art of content repurposing and identify ways to reuse and expand the impact of the content we are already creating
  • Report on content effectiveness and ensure we are driving the desired outcomes with content marketing
  • Support other marketing functions with copywriting needs (event descriptions, landing page copy, social copy, etc.)
  • Identify topics for larger quarterly assets and manage the overall production of the content and design (or do it yourself) - internal, external, and/or with partners
  • Develop themes and pillars that our audience is interested in and collaborate with internal subject matter experts to create content for each
  • Work with Product Marketing to determine what messages we need to get in front of our audience and what format they should be in
  • Increase search visibility and traffic for priority non-branded terms and product pages by creating content that's link-worthy and matches searcher intent
  • Analyze and report on the impact of our content in brand building and demand generation efforts
  • Collaborate with Community Marketing Manager to conceptualize and execute larger content pieces such as quarterly research studies and crowdsourced content from the community
  • Ghostwrite for executives on our blog, in major media publications, and on social media
  • Integrate content throughout our existing channels – website, email, social, etc. – and constantly be thinking about how we can iterate on our approach to improve quality and impact over time


What we're looking for:


  • A builder of content and processes with a continuous improvement mindset
  • A master of content marketing and content repurposing
  • Ability to learn a new space and confidently create content for it
  • Someone who has strong opinions about content (e.g., lead gen vs. demand creation)
  • Experience in hyper-growth SaaS/B2B environments (ideally at a startup)
  • Someone who understands SEO and how to grow quality traffic to the site
  • Track record of creating high quality, impactful content that stands out
  • Proven ability to build relationships and communicate internally and externally
  • Someone with exceptional writing skills who understands digital marketing
  • A general understanding of how sales teams work and what incentivizes them
