This position is integral to the success of the Pension Solutions team, and to CAAT’s guiding mission and growth strategy.

The Marketing Content Writer is responsible for helping the business achieve growth goals by supporting content development, event-related coordination and providing overall marketing support. They will collaborate with internal contacts to brainstorm and research topics for marketing materials, blogs, whitepapers, and other material to position CAAT as a thought leader and ensure the business development team is well supported.

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience in the pension industry considered a strong asset.
• Proven record of excellent writing for various audiences demonstrated in a professional portfolio.
• Degree/diploma in communications, marketing, or public relations, with a strong program focus on writing abilities.
• Five (5) plus years of experience writing for a B2B audience.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Strong business acumen.
• Ability to adjust tone, align and adapt messaging and content for various audiences.
• Exceptional project, time management and organizational skills.
• Adaptable qualities, including learning on the fly and open to change.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage shifting priorities.
• A desire to solve problems - on your own and within a team setting - and to learn from others and ask questions when needed.

Once here you will:

• Produce well-researched content for digital and traditional mediums.
• Regularly employ a broad spectrum of communication capabilities, including content logic and sequencing, technical writing, creative writing, and proof-reading for grammar, punctuation, sense, and clarity.
• Exercise knowledge of the decision-making journey in business to proactively recommend the appropriate communication vehicle and content at each phase of the process.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement.
• Develop an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the Pension Solutions team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Support the business development team with strategic events such as conferences, tradeshows, and webinars by drafting invitations, speaking notes and coordinating logistics.
