Dig Insights is a tech-enabled insights company that helps research pros get actionable answers to complex business problems. Unlike competitive research agencies that speak in the language of top-two-box scores and indexes vs. norms, we leverage powerful analytics and brand-new methodologies to speak in terms of volume and revenue.
This helps us talk to our business partners as strategists and deliver fresh insight, competitive advantage and an inspiring experience.
People who succeed at Dig are clever, creative, fun and able to work through complex projects at pace. They love to question established norms and are passionate about helping our clients to move their businesses forward. People at Upsiide are not only comfortable working in a fast-moving organization – it’s where they thrive.
We’ve got big growth goals in 2023, and to help support these goals, we’d like to bring on a Content Marketing Coordinator to supercharge them.
Content Marketing Coordinator – About this role
We are looking for a Content Marketing Coordinator to create interesting, data-driven thought leadership content and distribute that content through organic channels. This role would be perfect for a content marketer who likes to write compelling content equally as much as they enjoy analyzing what’s working and why. The person in-role will be responsible for both creating and distributing the content using a variety of organic channels, so the desire to consistently get content seen by the right people is an absolute must.
The ideal candidate will be audience-driven, comfortable with writing long form and short form copy, analyzing consumer research and articulating insights, owning social media channels, delivering content according to a content calendar, and developing their strategic skills.
Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Operations:
- Manage the Dig Insights’ social media channels, social calendars, and audience engagement.
- Analyze traffic and engagement metrics and extrapolate on them: what do they mean for the brand, how do we need to adapt or continue based on the findings?
- Collaborate with our in-house researchers to craft long form pieces of data storytelling.
- Develop a deep understanding of our audience; researchers and marketers at some of the world’s biggest brands.
- Manage the production and distribution of content alongside another content marketing coordinator and a demand generation coordinator.
- Write compelling thought leadership that speaks to our brand values and target audiences.
- Work closely with the content marketing manager on the production and distribution of our podcast, Dig In.
- Work alongside our communications design team to create visual assets for content and social media.
Experience, Skills and Requirements:
- 1-4 years of content marketing experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Highly collaborative marketer, with the ability to join the rest of the marketing team in-person on a weekly basis in our downtown Toronto office.
- Interest or experience in data storytelling content.
- Proven long form writing and social media copywriting experience, examples would be a bonus.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, while maintaining close attention to detail.
- Approaches content creatively, constantly considering how to innovate or do something different for improved results.
Work Perks:
- Both our Toronto and Chicago offices are located steps to public transportation in the downtown core
- Unlimited vacation policy
- Reimbursement for health and wellness classes/memberships and continuous learning
- RRSP / 401K employer matching program
- Remote first working policy which gives the ability for employees to work remotely or take a hybrid approach.
- In-person and virtual social events such as poker night, paint night, trivia night and more!
