The Clarington Board of Trade (CBOT) is looking for a dynamic individual to join their passionate and experienced team! We are hiring a full time Marketing & Communications Coordinator on a 1-year contract to cover a maternity leave. Responsibilities of the Marketing & Communications Coordinator position:

•Development of marketing material for all functions of the Clarington Board of Trade

•Creation and distribution of newsletters, publication editorials, social media content and external communications

•Event co-ordination & execution

•Customer Relationship Management system maintenance and management

•Website maintenance

•Branding consistency

You will have strong experience and skills in:

•Desktop Publishing/Creative Suite/Canva

•Microsoft Office

•Communication (well-developed written and verbal communication skills)

•Organization

•Mulit-tasking; priorities management

•Creative and critical thinking

Assets:

•Completion of post-secondary studies in at least one of: marketing, communications, public relations; or equivalent recent experience in a similar role.

•Knowledge of local (Clarington) and regional (Durham) community.

•Experience working with a CRM system.

•Familiarity with both Mac and PC.
