Intermediate Content Manager - responsible for managing projects related to content development, SEO optimization, and social media


Location Address: Hybrid (1x a week, flexible), 333 King Street E

Story Behind the Need

• Business group: The Canadian Invoice Adjustment team is seeking a highly organized and skilled Content Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing projects related to content development, SEO optimization, and social media, while also bringing strong design sensibility to the table.

• Project: Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are tracked effectively and completed successfully. Familiarity with content management systems, organizing content calendars, staying up to date with content marketing trends, and a keen eye for design are essential. Knowledge of tools such as Workfront, SEMrush, Adobe Analytics, and Google Analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and track projects related to content development, SEO optimization, and social media, ensuring that design elements are incorporated effectively.

• Work closely with the content, design, and SEO teams to ensure project objectives and deadlines are met, while maintaining a cohesive visual style.

• Collaborate with multiple teams, including marketing, design, and development, to align project requirements and seamlessly integrate design and content elements.

• Utilize content management systems to organize and schedule content publication, considering both design aesthetics and SEO principles.

• Maintain content calendars and ensure timely execution of content deliverables, with a focus on maintaining a visually appealing and engaging user experience.

• Assist with content creation, including writing, editing, proofreading, and contributing design expertise to ensure high-quality and visually captivating content.

• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing, design, and SEO, identifying opportunities to enhance visual appeal and optimize content.

• Conduct keyword research and provide recommendations for content optimization, taking design elements into account.

• Monitor and analyze project performance using tools like Workfront, SEMrush, Adobe Analytics, and Google Analytics, assessing both content engagement and design impact.

• Generate reports and provide insights to support data-driven decision-making, highlighting the effectiveness of design-driven content strategies.

Must Have Skills:

1)2-4 Years experience as aContent Managerpreferably within a content andSEO-focusedenvironment, with a strong emphasis on design sensibility

2)Strong understanding ofcontent development, social media management, and design principles.

3)Familiarity withSEO principlesand best practices for content optimization, considering visual aspects.

4)Proficiency in using content management systems and organizing content calendars, with an eye for design aesthetics.

5)Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining design consistency.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

1)A background in marketing or social media would be an asset

2)Experience with tools like Workfront, SEMrush, Adobe Analytics, and Google Analytics is a plus.
