Sales Project Coordinator

Full-time | Canada | Location – Mississauga, ON.

Supporting the sales team in the day-to-day business by acting as the primary contact person within the team for a wide range of aspects of the sales process, as well as taking care of and actively transferring his/her knowledge and skills in order to spread the expertise as widely as possible within the team, and in this way contribute to the achievement of the sales objectives of the team and maximize the general sales.

YOUR ROLE

• Following up the planning and reporting of sales metrics, quality of customer visits by the representatives, and suggest improvements.
• Assigning and monitoring the customer portfolios and customer visits to the team members
• Continuously remaining up-to-date of the evolutions and developments in the field of the product range and the sales system
• Market analysis: gathering and processing relevant market info; directly or via the employees (internal/external)
• Preparing, holding and following up team meetings
• Following up the socioeconomic situation and the current events of the own region closely
• Liaises as necessary with the sales team and intercompany departments at all phases of the project’s realization to ensure superior customer satisfaction;
• Translating relevant info and suggesting ideas for the creation of documentation descriptions with regards to commercial initiatives, and (Marketing) actions
• Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process
• In case of complaints, making commercial suggestions to achieve a solution
• Acting as a contact person/exemplary role and as specialist with regards to the tasks of an Internal Sales Representative, so that the ample knowledge and experience are used optimally and are transferred internally.
• Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
• Take on a pioneering role in 'active sales' (setting up the necessary actions for this both within the team and with customer service)
• Supporting less experienced colleagues in the execution of their work and initiative to share knowledge

YOUR PROFILE

• Excellence in verbal and oral communication skills
• Ability to lead a team by being a good and effective communicator
• Excellence in building rapport and creating a team environment where all those with project responsibilities work well together
• Ability to maintain a high level of organization by ensuring daily job allocation
• 2-3 years related customer service experience is a definite asset.
• Post-secondary business related education is preferred; Bachelor of Business
• Excellence in planning how each process should be done, how resources are to be acquired, and when the project should be completed
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills are a must
• Well versed in software programs such as but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Access Word and PowerPoint, along with Gmail related programs.
