The Port Robinson, ON office is seeking a detail oriented, dedicated and professional Project Coordinator to join the Fabrication Services team.

Summary Of The Role

Reporting to the Area Manager and Project Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for the administration of contracts and contractual obligations including those relating to subcontractors, contract changes, order changes, drawings, material requisitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Works with the discipline leads to ensure they recognize and retain productive manpower.
• Ensures the project is executed in a safe manner following the E.S. Fox Limited safety policy and OSHA guidelines.
• Understands job costing and tracking reports, i.e. - dollars, hours, schedule, etc.
• Develops overall project schedules and oversee the maintenance, progress, and issuance of schedule.
• Develops or oversees the development of all project requisitions and works with the central purchasing group to obtain all material in accordance with project schedules.
• Works with the discipline leads to ensure they recognize and deal with unproductive manpower.
• Ensures the appropriate level of quality assurance is applied to the project with the appropriate resources.
• Understands and administers the contractual agreements between E.S. Fox Limited and the owner and ensure we conform to the contract documents.
• Ensures responsibilities and accountabilities are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with E.S. Fox Limited safety policy/procedures, ISO 18001 standards and OHSA requirements.
• Assembles estimates for projects and project extras.
• Ensures that environmental aspects within his/her sphere of responsibility are adhered to pursuant to ISO 14001 requirements.
• Represents E.S. Fox Limited as our point of contact with the owner in a professional and fair manner.
• Understands all aspects of a project budget and deal with the owner on all cost issues.
• Addresses all relevant issues with the appropriate correspondence in a professional manner.
• Fully understands the project scope and deal with the owner on all scope issues.

Knowledge And Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a Related Technical Discipline would be an Asset
• Community College Technologist/Technician Diploma (C.E.T. desired)
• Professional Certification as Foreman through CCA Gold Seal Program

Specific Experience And Skills

• Demonstrated understanding of project management software (MS Project, Primavera etc.)
• Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
• Must have strong technical, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Demonstrated understanding of scheduling, job costing and project tracking systems
• Previous construction site experience
• 3 years of Construction industry experience
