Job Description

Kenmore Homes has been building superior quality low-rise residential homes in South Western Ontario for over half a century. Kenmore Homes is seeking the services of an experiencedProject Coordinatorwith residential building experience to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized and passionate about residential construction for our Niagara division.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review plans, paperwork and selection processes to capture efficiencies and proactively avoid issues
  • Coordinate and complete the PDI (Pre-delivery inspection) with purchasers and warranty coordinator.
  • Maintain communication with trades, suppliers, customers and site staff to ensure adherence to the critical path
  • Attend site meetings to review issues, meet with trades and assist in creating solutions
  • Work with management to track and report the progress of each lot, highlight any variances and propose solutions
  • Complete permit submission packages, selection meetings, electrical walks, change orders and site instructions
  • Set scopes of work with sub-trades and suppliers to ensure a smooth build, capture efficiencies and minimise gaps
  • Other duties may happen from time to time
  • Obtain pricing from trades, report variances to management to update budget as needed
  • Obtain, organize and distribute all project information required for permits and project completion
  • Review and approve invoices, verify against budget and communicate any discrepancies



Skills & Qualifications:

  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team, providing leadership when required
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field
  • First Aid/CPR “C” certification an asset
  • 3 years experience in residential construction, or relevant coordinator position
  • Combination of education and relevant work experience will also be considered
  • Must be able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines and adjust as needed
  • Understanding the Ontario Building Code is essential
  • Ability to read and understand construction-related drawings/documents
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal skills required
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Experience with TARION process is an asset
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word
  • Have a G class drivers license


Compensation package:

Full time 42.5 hour work week(Monday to Friday)

Salary $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year with Bonus eligibility
