Position Summary
We are looking for a Regional Business Manager based remotely in Western Canada region into the Head of National Sales. This role is responsible for developing and implementing business plans based on regional market insights and lead their regional sales team to drive demand and meet business objectives.
A day in the life of a Regional Business Manager
As a Regional Business Manager, you will be working on developing clear, focused and ambitious regional business plan aligned with the National Integrated Commercial Plan and Canadian Market Business Strategy, with a pathway to achieve Regional and National Targets.
You will also:
  • Coach, motivate and influence regional team to think critically to identify profitable business opportunities, take the initiative to make bold business decisions and be accountable to act and own outcomes of actions.
  • Adhere to, and ensure team adherence to all Nestlé, customer, provincial and national policies, guidelines, principles, processes and requirements.
  • Support team members in identifying, developing goals, and achieving their Development Plans to help them build key competencies they require to be successful in their roles and advance their careers.
  • Leverage expertise, experience, and business tools to make critical decisions, execute and track against plans. This includes external customer and business insights, effective analysis of key sales data, environmental scans and identification of opportunities and risks.
  • Establish a team culture built on continuous improvement to effectively improve the way work is done.
  • Navigate difficult, complex and dynamic business and social situations internally and externally to get to the most desirable outcome from stakeholders involved.
  • Lead and coach the Regional Key Account Manager to proactively influence, negotiate and execute plans on contracted business to deliver regional business objectives.
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of the national Integrated Commercial Plan (ICP).
What will make you successful?
  • University degree required. Studies focused on business and/or health/medical science an asset.
  • Have the ability to build great relationships with internal and external stakeholders from various backgrounds and work collaboratively on multiple projects.
  • Be able to showcase excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience in successfully leading and developing teams in a management capacity preferred.
  • A good understanding of Canadian/ regional healthcare system including policies, business and procurement processes.
  • Computer literacy and expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Polished professional having excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Valid full driver’s license and safe driving record is required. Open to frequent travel within assigned region and some national travel as needed.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful sales or related business experience, preferably in the health care Industry.
