Project Analyst Jobs

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Project Analyst to help our client with the implementation of an improved solution that is replacing a single system running at multiple locations. The focus will be on implementing current functionality, as well as, advanced clinical system capabilities across various sites. The project is currently in the build and design phase and requiring additional project management support.

Responsibilities:

• Assesses business needs from a technical readiness perspective and implements go-live activities to meet the Program strategic goals
• Works with internal and external client to understand technical issues
• Must have proven analytical and technical skills to be able to devise new and adapt existing methods, techniques and procedures to meet specific requirements
• Elicit and understand the related workflows, how they affect downstream systems and how the regional ecosystem might need to be enhanced to support the workflows
• Evaluates and supports recommendations for interoperability program activities
• Develops required communications
• Ensures standards are utilized throughout the implementation
• Develops material for and host demos with different stakeholder groups, as required
• Supports other product launch activities such as developing and documenting operational processes
• Collaborates with testing teams to create and coordinate test plans, test strategies and contributes to the development of testing scripts to support go-live readiness activities
• Communicates, prioritizes, tracks, and resolves interoperability issues in a timely fashion
• Serves as a liaison between end users, Site Leads, and integration teams
• Completes day-to-day work involved with pushing forward areas of the program across a number of domains and supporting the workstream PM’s/Lead’s
• Develops and/or maintains technical and user documentation requirements in a highly complex technical environment
• Effectively executes testing plans for software changes/updates

Requirements:

• Experience working on large health care integration initiatives/projects
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and effectively prioritize work
• Experience working with provincial registries (i.e. EMPI)
• Experience working in a healthcare environment is preferred
• Experience working with Meditech is preferred
• Strong problem solving, analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills and an ability to make effective decisions under pressure
• Experience working with software development teams
• Demonstrated internal/external stakeholder provider and clinician engagement experience
• Strong written and verbal communication, documentation and facilitation skills
• Experience working with HL7, FHIR, APIs, etc.
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Analyst
• Experience using tools like JIRA, Smartsheets and Office365
• Experience navigating change in a clinical environment
• Knowledge of general workflows in a hospital environment is an asset
