Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager/Business Analyst
As a Senior IT Project Manager/Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in leading and overseeing IT projects of significant scale and complexity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and technical experts to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure the successful execution of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in project management and business analysis, deep knowledge of IT solutions, and the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Leadership and Management:
o Lead and manage complex IT projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
o Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
o Develop comprehensive project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
o Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to project teams, fostering collaboration and high-performance culture.
o Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
2. Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering:
o Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for IT solutions.
o Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, systems, and user needs to identify optimal technology solutions.
o Develop functional requirements, use cases, and user stories to guide development efforts.
o Work closely with technical teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical deliverables.
o Conduct user acceptance testing to validate IT solutions and ensure they meet defined requirements.
3. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business users, executive sponsors, and technical teams.
o Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and communication channels to provide project updates and gather feedback.
o Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective alignment between business objectives and IT solutions.
o Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic recommendations and guidance on IT strategies and solutions.
4. Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
o Establish and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions.
o Conduct thorough testing, validation, and documentation of IT deliverables to ensure they meet defined requirements.
o Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and issues to mitigate potential impacts.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management and business analysis roles, with at least 5 years in a senior position.
• Strong understanding of IT solutions, software development lifecycle, and industry best practices.
• Proven track record in successfully managing complex IT projects, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Extensive experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Certifications such as PMP, CBAP, or similar are highly desirable.
