Payroll Clerk Junior Jobs

As a Payroll Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our contractors while delivering exceptional customer service. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to communicate effectively will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our clients and the success of our company.

**Job Responsibilities:**

- Assist in processing employee payroll on a weekly basis.

- Input and verify timekeeping records, including hours worked, overtime, and paid time off.

- Calculate and process payroll deductions, such as taxes, benefits, and other withholdings.

- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any discrepancies.

- Generate and distribute electronic pay stubs and direct deposit statements.

- Assist in preparing payroll reports for management review.

- Provide exceptional customer service to build and maintain positive client relationships.

-Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security in all payroll transactions.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field is a plus.

- Basic understanding of payroll processes and regulations.

- Familiarity with payroll software and systems.

- Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

- Strong attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude and accuracy in data entry.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- English and French communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

- Qualified candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada
