Job Description

6 Month contract and Remote in Canada


- 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience preparing accounts, maintaining financial transactions, general ledger, filing documents, etc.

- Working experience with Quickbooks Desktop

- Knowledge of all Canadian Payroll Legislation

- High attention to detail for creating documents with data and legal compliance

- Strong data entry skills

- Experience with multiple currencies

- Excellent communication


Insight Global is looking for a Payroll Accountant This role will be for a 6 month contract with a possibility of extension or conversion to Full Time Employment. We are looking for a reliable employee with excellent communication, attention to detail, and data entry skills for the role. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Keep, maintain, and balance financial records and accounts utilizing Quickbooks Desktops
  • Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax related documentation
  • Support payroll, AP/AR, accounting, and finance teams
  • Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, general ledgers, and prepare financial statements
  • Perform month-end closings
