Job Description

We are currenlty seeking to hire a Full-time Bookkeeping/Payroll Administrator. This can be a remote role but the candidate will need to occasionaly travel to our offices in Calgary, Alberta and Kathryn, Alberta.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processing payroll, bi-weekly using QuickBooks
  • Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office
  • Preparing year end documentation for accountant
  • Processing GST, PST and other tax payments
  • Prepare T4s, T5s and Records of Employment
  • Other duties as required
  • Reconciling bank accounts and company credit cards
  • Filing WCB and WorkSafe BC documentation
  • Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Job costing, tracking and contract management

SKills and Qualifications:

  • Organization
  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • QuickBooks online Experience Necessary
  • Professionalism
  • Problem Solving
  • Excellent Verbal Communication skills
  • Willingness to learn

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Certificate or diploma in business administration or accounting is considered an asset
  • Current criminal record check
  • 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping and administrative experience preferred
  • Knowledge of appropriate software including: QuickBooks (3-5 Years), Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are a must
  • Previous experience in the construction industy is considered an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
