Autodesk is looking for a Payroll Analyst to support all aspects of payroll operations in the AMER region. You will collaborate with external payroll providers and internal business partners to deliver an accurate and compliant payroll. Additionally, you will be supporting the implementation and maintenance of payroll application systems, developing best practices and documenting business requirements.
Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of data provided to internal and external partners
• Design and document internal procedures to ensure data consistency for ease in analysis
• Stay up-to-date on legislative changes (federal, state, local/provincial)
• Assist with and answer questions in relation to external and internal audits
• Assist with projects such as system upgrades, M&A integrations, employment technical analysis, payroll configuration and automation
• Prepare and analyze US & Canada payroll operations (calendar payrolls, daily specials, equity, and ad hoc processing)
• Identify issues, propose solutions and engage directly with stakeholders to achieve resolution
• Document business and technical requirements for desired process solutions
• Interact directly with stakeholders such as Employees, HR, Legal, Finance, and Vendors
• Facilitate and participate in UAT to ensure process solutions are accurate and stable
• Capture and analyze data to identify problems and establish baseline metrics

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar field
• Sparks joy with communication
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Known to express unerring positivity
• Experience with ADP, Workday and other Payroll & HR platforms
• 2+ years of experience in Payroll Operations
• Love of technology & excited to engage in automation
• Expert in Excel
• Never saw a process you couldn’t simplify

The maximum salary for this position is $90,000 + bonus, long term incentive, and benefits.

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $57,000 and $98,230. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
