In this role, you will be responsible for implementing Oracle ERP in the organization from scratch.

Work with company database programs to process payroll

Implementation of Oracle's JD Edwards and PowerBI with Work Management systems are considered an asset.

Evaluate business processes and necessary reporting, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.

Provide guidance for new data collection with recommended processes and quality requirements.

Previous experience as a Payroll Clerk of 2+ years, preferably within a company of a comparable size

Contact Front Line Managers/supervisors regarding payroll related issues

Performs data entry associated with employee maintenance (e.g., non-health and welfare deductions, union dues) directly into the payroll system

Experience working in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) payroll software preferred.

Knowledge of Payroll related legislation and procedures

Flexibility, multi-tasking, strong interpersonal & communication skills are all required

Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools is a plus.

Gather and analyze business requirements related to payroll processes, including payroll calculations, deductions, benefits, and tax regulations.

Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and technical documentation for system configuration and development teams.

Assist with data analysis, data mapping, and data validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy between various HR and finance systems.

Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and technology advancements related to payroll and HR domains.

3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Peoplesoft Payroll systems and processes.

Experience using a Payroll Management System

At least 1 year experience in payroll, HR, or an employee benefits program or related role

Execute special projects and ad-hoc reporting as assigned by the Payroll Manager and above

Strong computing skills including with MS Office

Professional certification/designation preferred, or a willingness to enroll in Payroll certification

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Good communicator, strong analytical skills, sound systems knowledge, strong Excel skills

Systems knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce, ADP or similar software

3 years of Payroll expertise

Payroll certified training through the Canadian Payroll Association strongly preferred

Extensive experience in database management.

Knowledge of supply chain management and demand planning processes.

Learn, analyze and optimize the existing ERP system, LS Central, to better support inventory management and demand planning.

Coordinate with other departments to understand their needs and requirements related to the ERP system.

Create and manage databases as required, ensuring data accuracy and security.

Proven experience in managing and optimizing ERP systems, preferably in a retail/salon environment.

Assist with various special projects including developing internal control policies and supporting ad-hoc or change management requests

Post-secondary education such as a Bachelor’s Degree, in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT or relevant field

Knowledge of software requirements for the auditing of financial systems and procedures

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with advance Excel skills

Experience using Power Query and Sage SEI Report Writer tool or similar (Crystal Reports, SSRS, PowerBI)

You have a good knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies: Azure AD, O365, SharePoint, Teams.

2+ years of experience in Payroll Operations

Prepare and analyze US & Canada payroll operations (calendar payrolls, daily specials, equity, and ad hoc processing)

Extensive experience in database management.

Strong analytical thinking, communication, writing, and presentation skills.

Strong knowledge of MS Office.

Payroll InfoLine and Consulting: Provide accurate payroll compliance guidance and assistance to members, conduct research, document findings, and categorize information requests.

Identifying opportunities for improvement with our inventory management technologies and implementing them

Past roles supporting and implementing enterprise inventory management technology

Forestry software such as Trimble/3LOG’s Log Inventory & Management System (LIMS)
