Erp Systems Specialist/ Data Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for a 3-month contract opportunity for an ERP Systems Specialist/ Database Analyst to join our team. This role will based within Canada.

As an ERP System Specialist/Database Analyst, you will be a key player in improving the functionality of our current ERP system, LS Central. Reporting to the VP of OMNI Merchandising and Planning, the ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong background in computer science, a focus on database management, and a proven track record of learning new systems independently. This role will have significant impact on our supply chain operations by tailoring the ERP system to better support demand planning and other key functions.

A Little About the Role:

• Troubleshoot any issues related to the ERP system, providing efficient and timely solutions.
• Collaborate with the VP of Technology in ERP system-related decisions.
• Create and manage databases as required, ensuring data accuracy and security.
• Implement additional features or tools to improve demand planning processes.
• Train team members on new ERP features and functionalities, as well as automated Excel reporting.
• Develop an understanding of the buying cycle across three points of distribution and create suitable replenishment models within LS Central.
• Coordinate with other departments to understand their needs and requirements related to the ERP system.
• Learn, analyze and optimize the existing ERP system, LS Central, to better support inventory management and demand planning.
• Support the head of supply planning in delivering output, including generation of automated reports using Microsoft Excel, with or without integration to the ERP system.

A Little About You:

• Proven experience in managing and optimizing ERP systems, preferably in a retail/salon environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new systems independently and willingness to learn LS Central.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
• Extensive experience in database management.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including the creation of automated reports.
• Knowledge of supply chain management and demand planning processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365
