Sr. Business Analyst – Erp/Cots

On behalf of our client, Affinity is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support the implementation of enterprise systems and ERP solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the business and technology groups to collect, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into effective system and technical requirements and specifications

• Represent business requirements in the software selection and design processes

• Liaise between the business and technical teams

• Plan and facilitate workshops with multiple stakeholder groups

• Develop problem statements and Key Decision Documents

• Review current processes and conduct business process design

• Perform process impact assessment, support change management and organizational transition

• Support the project team in creating the Implementation Roadmap

• Support the testing and defect management activities

• Support the Project Manager in producing a Detailed Business Case

Qualifications:

• Capable of leading all aspects of the Business Analysis work on a large transformative project

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong facilitation skills

• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff and management

• Demonstrated experience delivering prompt, efficient, quality service

• Capable of researching the industry leading practices and capabilities and present the findings to stakeholders

• Anticipates and identifies end user needs, drives towards results and ensures that high quality standards are met

• Ability to break work into manageable parts, assessing the priority and time required ; develops detailed plans, completes tasks in logical order, and deliver work products on time

• Demonstrated ability to create good relationships and confidently works to build trust with stakeholders; successfully manages both internal and external relationships

• Proven commitment to quality

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Business or an IT related discipline

• Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP would be an asset

• Six Sigma certification would be an asset
