IT Application Analyst - ERP

As part of the IT group, this role will provide support, analysis, and development assistance for all technology supporting the business’s inventory and supply chain areas. This person will work closely with operations staff, corporate leadership, and the IT department to define and implement effective business process enhancements and technology solutions.

You Will Be Responsible For The Following

• Defining technical solutions to business challenges
• Being a lead resource in projects implementing new technologies and integrations to support strategic initiatives
• Providing top-tier technical support to users across a financial interface with reporting, system uptime, and integration
• Cooperating with a team to keep systems operating and further our organization’s competitive advantage
• Identifying opportunities for improvement with our inventory management technologies and implementing them

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following

• Relational databases and corresponding tools such as Oracle SQL Developer, SS, Transact, PLSQL
• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or MIS from a recognized public or private program and/or 3+ years of relevant experience
• Programming languages such as Pascal, C# .NET, Microsoft Visual Studio
• Forestry software such as Trimble/3LOG’s Log Inventory & Management System (LIMS)
• Past roles supporting and implementing enterprise inventory management technology
• A detailed and proactive approach to duties
• Systems integration, data conversion, and solution architecture
• Experience with the following will be considered an asset:
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Self-starter and inquisitive attitude to troubleshooting

Travel Required

Must be able to travel via car and air when required - 10% expected.
