Essence of The Role

As an integral part of the CORE team, the candidate provides leadership and expertise in ERP functionality to support financial and operational needs. The candidate will oversee the development, implementation, customization, and improvement of the Microsoft 365 Dynamics ERP system while interacting closely with key stakeholders.

As an ERP specialist and “SuperUser” the candidate provides technical expertise, analysis and training while collaborating with the CORE ERP users to fully achieve the benefits of the system. This includes providing key business analytics to guide decision making and providing business process automation.


Key Responsibilities:

Development

▪ Establish ERP needs via business process analysis and consultation.

▪ Analyze existing infrastructure and perform IT system enhancements as required.

▪ Develop customized programs and scripts, as well as configuring ERP applications.

▪ Ensure seamless integration with other related IT systems.

▪ Provide suggestions and recommendations for continuous improvement.

▪ Identify opportunities to utilize technology to optimize business processes, increase operational efficiency, leverage cost savings, and improve resource allocation.

▪ Develop user-friendly functionalities and interfaces.

▪ Consolidated data entry for different departments and take ownership of all databases.

Maintenance/Support

▪ Perform diagnostic tests and resolving issues to optimize performance.

▪ Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve basic system issues for end users to maintain daily business activities facilitated through the ERP environment.

▪ Thoroughly document inconsistencies, issues, concerns for follow-up and/or resolution by the software vendor(s) as needed.

▪ Create and maintain user instruction manuals or process documents to identify and resolve issues within the ERP environment.

▪ Assist with testing the new release of ERP systems prior to use in a production environment.

▪ Responsible for keeping cadence with scheduled ERP upgrades as required, including preparation of the stakeholders involved in system testing.

Training

• Maintain personal and professional networks as appropriate for your position. Participate in internal and external educational opportunities to ensure continuous learning and professional growth.

• Provide technical support and training for ERP end-users.

• Prepare development progress updates and document ERP processes.

• Be a “Data Integrity Advocate,” encouraging users to follow established processes and procedures to promote data integrity.

• Develop a broad knowledge base of all processes facilitated through the ERP environment to assist with and resolve process gaps.

• Partner with the business to develop a comprehensive understanding of application features and capabilities.

• Provide documentation, development, implementation, and training support for ERP modules. (Production Planning, Scheduling, Forecasting, Purchasing, Order Management, Finance, Sales).

• Map user requirements for effective application of Dynamics 365 technology solutions.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external parties to ensure a high level of communication and system understanding.

Reporting

▪ Design, develop and maintain reports used by process stakeholders, department managers and ERP systems users where appropriate.

▪ Define and measure business impact and monitor performance of initiatives and communicate performance metrics to key stakeholders.

▪ Leverage data to understand risks, impacts, priorities and enable the team to drive results.


Education

▪ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Systems, Information Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent years of experience).

Qualifications

▪ Experience with ERP and operational systems implementations is required.

▪ Proficient with ERP systems such as: Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, is highly desirable.

▪ Expertise in Excel, Visio, and Power BI. ▪ Effective communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

▪ Excellent problem-solving, research and analytical abilities.

Experience

▪ Fifteen (15) plus years of experience managing & supporting ERP systems
