Financial Director Jobs

The Finance Director in Digital Business & Technology Solutions (DBTS) serves as a central point for all finance related activates including strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, reporting, chargeback process and cost optimization for the portfolio. The incumbent must be able advise the business on decisions ensure that the business is financially successful. The position requires strong presentation and communication skills and reports directly the AVP Finance, Digital Business & Technology Solutions.

Major Accountabilities:

• Define lead and influence the business portfolio strategy

• Participate in Annual Strategic and Business Planning processes including

• Lead the development of business portfolio guidelines and standards which include defining the guardrails optimize cost performance

• Lead business portfolio financial cost modeling which include the cost and revenue models as well as the forecasts and budget review processes

• Responsible for the oversight and management of the business portfolio operating budget and chargebacks clients, including the Asia BG relationship:

• Monitoring financial performance during month-end, quarter-end, year-end activities.

• Present business reviews senior management

• Forecast costs business application owners support budgeting process

• Report on project costs.

• Drive successful implementation on product cost tracking and status reporting on initiatives.

• Identify and leverage cost optimization opportunities.

• Responsible for the oversight of On-Prem and Cloud related enterprise-wide contracts

• Responsible for coaching and mentoring employees

Preferred qualifications:

• Progressive experience within the financial management functions (7-10 years)

• Accounting designation (CPA) or equivalent relevant business experience

• Proven experience in expense management, cost accounting, activity based costing, and financial modeling

• Familiar with / basic knowledge of cost recovery / chargeback models.

Competencies:

• Experience working with Oracle Financials and Hyperion Planning would be an asset

• Ability manage multiple and often conflicting timelines

• Ability operate in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams

• Customer focused with an attitude deliver excellent customer outcomes
