Job location: Anywhere in Canada
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Division: IT (IT Commercial, Finance and HR Solutions)
Employment type: Temporary employment (12-month contract) operating in a remote work dynamic

Job summary
Are you a dynamic IT professional looking for a remote work opportunity? Do you have experience with Sage X3 and introducing creative IT solutions? If so, we would love to meet you!
We’re looking for a motivated professional to plant their roots with us as an ERP Functional Analyst. In this role, you will report into our Manager, Collaboration Applications and support key stakeholders in the design, implementation, and optimization of business processes with a focus on Sage X3. You will collaborate with our dynamic A-Team to open the world to cannabis through innovative IT solutions, programs, and applications and ensure we deliver the best ERP user experience. As the ERP Functional Analyst you will…
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to support the Sage X3 application including ongoing maintenance and roll-out of new modules and organizational entities
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure support issues and project tasks are dealt with quickly and efficiently
  • Provide training on financial processes in relation to the system
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Sage X3 modules
  • Assist with various special projects including developing internal control policies and supporting ad-hoc or change management requests
  • Work in conjunction with internal and external IT professionals to provide support for application maintenance, modification, process improvements and enhancement as required through problem solving, testing, reports development and documentation
  • Develop and execute test plans, and assemble and document test results
  • Liaise with business users and application developers to identify bugs, recommend, prioritize, and implement enhancements and processes
You will be setup for success if you have…
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with advance Excel skills
  • Prior experience working with key business units to understand needs, develop technical solutions, build and document processes, facilitate training and deliver the best user experience (we would also welcome an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
  • Relevant work experience using Sage X3 or other large-scale ERP systems such as SAP, MS Dynamics, Oracle Financials etc., and supporting key modules related to finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Foreign Exchange, Inter-Company Transactions), manufacturing (BoM, Purchasing, Work Orders, Scheduling, Shop Floor, Cost Control, MRP) or inventory management (Purchasing, Warehouse Management, Stock Transfers, Shipping/Receiving)
  • Post-secondary education such as a Bachelor’s Degree, in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT or relevant field
Bonus points if you have…
  • Experience using Power Query and Sage SEI Report Writer tool or similar (Crystal Reports, SSRS, PowerBI)
  • A Professional Designation (CPA, SCMP, PMI-PBA)
  • Knowledge of software requirements for the auditing of financial systems and procedures
