TalentWorld is recruiting a Technical Analyst in Windsor, Ontario for one of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Managing small to medium technology projects from start to completion
• Proposing and documenting architectural solutions and ensuring consistency with the overall architecture, security, and resources
• Assigning and monitoring tasks for programmers and analysts as needed.
• Coordinating system testing and monitoring with various tools
• Providing the system and file access and authentication
• Analyzing user requirements and automating/improving existing systems
• Creating functional or technical specifications with consideration to security and capacity for new projects
• Administering security standards and change management procedures
• Operating, maintaining, and upgrading applications, infrastructure, and security systems
• Serving as a liaison between business units and vendors to resolve system issues

Qualifications

• Over 3+ years of experience in technical analysis and project management
• Strong skills in Relational databases, dimensional data modeling, and operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows)
• Excellent project management skills with a focus on information systems and infrastructure
• Experience in VMware, mobile device management systems, file systems, SAP BASIS, backup systems, and distributed computing support
• Proficient in Active Directory and mobile device management at the administration level
• Able to have own transportation if needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Able to pass criminal record checks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with business, Information Systems, and external consultants.

Employment Details

• Schedule: 40 hours per week.
