Our client is looking for a strong Technical Analyst who has supported large system implementation experience.

This is a 24 months contract with a strong possibility to extend for another 12 months.

This is a hybrid role - 3 days onsite in their downtown Toronto office

Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation Certification is an asset.

Comprehensive knowledge of support procedures in a technical environment, including automated call logging and issue troubleshooting, analysis and resolution processes.

Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service an asset.

Responsible in the review, prioritization, and assignment of call tickets to the appropriate 2nd and 3rd level technical support staff.

• 2-yr diploma in business, management or a related discipline and 6-yr BA experience;

D6 - Experience with IT service management, IT service management applications, IT application development and maintenance projects.

4) Experience developing tender requirements for Audio Visual projects - 3 years

Responsible for taking business requirements and translating them into technical requirements and solutions.

• Create business requirements, functional specifications and technical requirements.

Work with Scotiabank infrastructure teams to maintain and support infrastructure and services under management

Ensuring business specifications/requirements documentation is accurately prepared and comprehensive to support sizing/development efforts and as input to various project documentation.

Defining of business requirements, processes, and preparation of business case proposals

You have experience in Unit Testing, such as familiarity with JUnit/Jest, Mockito/Mocha etc.

You are passionate about open-source technologies or have evident experience with library contribution or developing shared components.

Over 3+ years of experience in technical analysis and project management

Experience in VMware, mobile device management systems, file systems, SAP BASIS, backup systems, and distributed computing support

Proficient in Active Directory and mobile device management at the administration level

Analyzing user requirements and automating/improving existing systems

You will complete at least one more semester of education following your internship and possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher

You are currently enrolled in Computer Science, or Software Engineering, or equivalent program.
