Your Responsibilities In a Nutshell

Process monthly, bi-monthly and bi-weekly international payroll for all employees - Ensure organizations are compliant with applicable laws and regulations - Provide updates regarding global payroll regulations - Collaborate with HR for integrations and terminations - Act as a reference for all payroll and benefits issues - Assist with year-end preparation and execution - Participate in reporting activities such as summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, vacations, taxable and non-taxable income - Cooperate in the realization of special projects - Support various internal and external audits - Improve payroll processes and procedures - Promote continuous improvement within your department

Your Strengths For This Position

• Strong knowledge of payroll best practices, guidelines and compliance, including tax management
• Experience with international payroll (strong asset)
• Ability to take ownership of the Canadian payroll function with minimal coaching or direction
• Strong technical background in payroll
• Bilingualism: English optimal and French optional
• Familiarity with Ceridian Dayforce HCM system (asset)
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (asset)
• PCP certification (asset)
• Minimum 2 years' experience processing the full payroll cycle
