Customer Implementation Specialist, Data

Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Customer Implementation Specialist to join our activation services. You will be responsible for data conversions to our systems, will work directly with customers to identify the necessary activities required to complete each customer’s conversion and follow through to ensure that the activities are performed on time and with high quality. This role is proficient in using tools and techniques to ensure accurate and efficient data conversion and may also be responsible for testing and validating the accuracy of the converted data.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with assigned customer and Data Services team on data conversion process; proactively review and respond to customer-reported data migration-related issues and identify recurring issues by source system for resolution
• Manage data conversion for projects with increasing complexity and additional source systems
• Partner with specialists and other team members to ensure completion of all deliverables across the project
• Review sample and final conversions provided by the Data Analyst to ensure accuracy/quality
• Form strong and productive working relationships with customers, managing to keep customers on track toward achieving mutual goals
• Maintain thorough documentation of customer interactions, tasks completed, project status, and action items
• Create and maintain customer specific, data migration playbooks that will inform the outcome of system migrations
• Identify and manage customer expectations, including communicating difficult/sensitive information to the customer, the project team, and management
• Execute project plans that result in high-quality delivery of implementation goals
• Conduct training to prepare the customer for their role in the data migration activities

What You’ll Need To Succeed

We’re looking for someone who:

• Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

• Experience or interest in data conversions
• We proudly support and encourage people with military experience, as well as military spouses, to apply
• Demonstrated communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to develop creative solutions
• 3+ years of project management or software implementation experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Additionally, you may have:

• Knowledge or use of Applied Systems products and services
• A background in the insurance industry
