As our Payroll Implementation Specialist, you will be our in-house system and process expert to design a robust payroll process that fosters efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery and an enhanced end-user experience.
This 6-month, fixed-term role is open for fully remote work from anywhere in Canada. And you will be eligible for a project completion bonus!
With your effective project management and collaborative style of working, you will be responsible for the delivery and implementation of our new Canadian Payroll System while ensuring all payroll and related systems and technology needs of the company are met.
You are an organized professional who can work within tight deadlines and meet the project plan timelines.
As a Ceridian Dayforce platform specialist, you will also conduct root cause analysis to identify improvements to maximize product functionality during the implementation phase and be agile in your project delivery.
With your attention to detail, you will audit the payroll system to ensure data integrity and accuracy as well as oversee data management, reporting, and updates.
You are a strong communicator and influencer who will partner with internal customers and external vendors to achieve an overall successful delivery and implementation of the system.
Key Criteria:
- Strong knowledge of the full payroll cycle including knowledge of mandatory payroll deductions as well as tax and wage laws in the USA and Canada
- Considerable previous payroll experience with implementation experience required
- Certified Canadian Payroll Specialist – Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) Certification required
- Bi-lingual – Fluent in English and French preferred
