Robert Half is currently staffing for a Payroll & Accounting Administrator to join a well renowned organization located in the Carp region. This is a full-time/permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Processing bi-weekly payroll for over 140 employees in Canada and US
• Assist with improving of payroll related internal controls and procedures
• Responsible for processing employee travel expenses and administration of SAP Concur
• Record changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage for each employee to update master payroll records
• Enter new employee information into the software
• Assist with year end audit
• Compile and enter payroll data; post wage and reconcile errors to maintain payroll records
• Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions
• Manage the employee benefits
• Other duties as requested
• Review wages computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll
• Serve as the contact for employees’ payroll enquiries

Requirements
Qualifications:

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Post-secondary education in Accounting/Payroll or related field, PCP designation would be considered an asset
• Experience with account reconciliations and a knack for problem-solving
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Experience in various payroll software such as ADP Workforce and Ceridian
• Must have reliable transportation (no public transit available)
• Experience with international payroll is considered an asset
• 3+ years experience in payroll
• Strong working knowledge of payroll legislation, processes and procedures
• Great attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
