The Company:
OSL (Outsourced Sales Leadership) was established in 2012 in Mississauga, Ontario, to provide clients with customized designed sales solutions in retail, direct sales, merchandising and customer acquisition.
About the role:
At OSL we couldn’t be more excited to partner with a globally recognized industry leader and Online Service Provider. To that end we are looking to recruit a National Sales Manager to help support this new client partnership. This is truly a fantastic opportunity to work with an incredible global brand!
As the National Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our retail operations and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing a wide range of initiatives and programs related to retail services, with the goal of optimizing operational efficiency, improving customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth.
OSL Retail Services is a collaborative, fast paced and innovative company. To be successful in this role you must thrive in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment. You will lead and be the main point of contact on various projects across various teams, departments, and levels of the company.
Location: Greater Toronto Area
A little more about the role:
  • Advanced Operations KPI Analysis - measuring efficiencies of operational processes to continuous evolve and improve
  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Support field with daily touchpoints and twice weekly meetings with Managers and coordinate internal departments
  • Document and drive execution of overall strategy by meeting and planning for tasks across departments
  • Successfully manage, mentor, and develop regional sales team to achieve and exceed sales objectives
  • Developing scope on various initiatives and ensuring progress is tracked
  • P&L Management
  • Act as an advisor, and build and maintain relationships across the wider stakeholder community
  • Lead monthly business planning sessions and monitor progress towards objectives
  • Distribution of KPIs on an annual, monthly, and weekly basis
Retail Sales Team Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Lead a team providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure sales targets achieved
  • Ability to train, develop, and maintain a sales culture
  • Experience in managing a field team with primary focus on sales
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to ensure customer experience
  • Collaborate with retail store and sales teams to ensure adherence to brand standards
Customer Experience:
  • Implement strategies to enhance the customer experience
  • Monitor customer feedback and translate insights into actionable initiatives
Program Planning and Execution:
  • Monitor program performance
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance to align program objectives ensuring successful implementation of client expectations
  • Develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to enhance effectiveness and efficiency
Client Management:
  • Collaborate with client to manage relationships, and ensure the delivery of high quality services
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute joint marketing initiatives
What you bring:
  • 5+ years experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role
  • Proven business acumen, team building, and project management skills
  • Strong leader and communicator with an unwavering devotion to create an outstanding customer experience across assigned region
  • Relationship management: you quickly develop and foster trusting, healthy relationships with Client Partners and Sales Team Members
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey reporting analysis and metrics to senior management
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in retail or consumer goods
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and initiative for issues and see through to resolution with a proven ability to work under pressure, manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to travel as required, 40-60% travel out of office is anticipated
