They are seeking an experienced Senior Director, National Programs to spearhead strategic initiatives and oversee the successful execution of nationwide programs.

Your New Role

The Senior Director, National Programs will be responsible for reviewing existing Property Management processes and developing and maintaining best practices for all areas. As the Operations Subject Matter Expert, you will act as the liaison on cross-functional projects and property technology initiatives, facilitating seamless collaboration among teams.

In addition, you will take the lead in updating, monitoring, and evaluating the Property Emergency Preparedness Programs, offering invaluable support to property operations and ensuring robust emergency response strategies. You will also identify new National Supply Programs and collaborate with the Vice President and Directors of Operations to implement effective strategies.

A key aspect of your role will involve researching and exploring emerging technologies that have the potential to improve operational processes and practices. You will oversee the National Programs team, which includes resources for Insurance, Claims, Technical Services, Training & Development, and Operational Excellence. Finally, you will act as a mentor, providing exceptional leadership and innovative ideas that inspire, motivate, and foster their professional development.

What Sets You Apart

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in a leadership role overseeing national or regional operations in commercial real estate, with specific exposure to retail asset management and mixed-use properties. You should have a background in change management within property management, and strong leadership skills.

A designation in Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or an equivalent discipline would be an asset as would any one of the following professional real estate designations: RPA, CFM, CPM, FMA, CSM, and ASM. Strong business acumen, excellent judgment, analytical thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, will contribute to your success in this role. An undergraduate degree in business, accounting, or a real estate-related field is required and bilingualism in French is an asset.
