Job Summary

The Immigration Programs Branch delivers and promotes the BC Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), an immigration program operating under the Provincial Immigration Programs Act and BC's immigration agreement with the federal government. The PNP allows the Province to nominate foreign workers and entrepreneurs for expedited permanent immigration, based on BC's labour market and economic development needs and priorities.


Job Requirements


  • Experience establishing collaborative relationships with senior leaders across government and leading organizational change associated with implementation.
  • Related degree (masters preferred) in business administration, economics, public administration, related field or equivalent and at least six years management experience.
  • Experience establishing and reconciling program and project objectives, priorities and budgets.
  • Experience in the management and supervision of multi-disciplinary staff.
  • Preference may be given to candidates with experience and knowledge of immigration programs.
  • Preference may be given to candidates with change management experience.

Flexible work options are available; this position may work a few days a week at home as per the Telework Agreement.
