About the position

To be successful in this role, you would need to have a strong understanding of social entrepreneurship and program management. You will be responsible for running a program that assist young people in starting their own non-profits, school or community projects. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are also essential, as you will be working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. A passion for social innovation, impact-driven entrepreneurship, and community development is also crucial for this role.

What you’ll be doing

1. Assist with developing and implementing program curriculum and content under the guidance of the program manager.
2. Assist with recruiting and selecting program participants, evaluating their skills and qualifications, and providing guidance and support throughout the program.
3. Coordinate program activities, such as workshops, seminars, and networking events, and ensure they run smoothly and effectively.
4. Support program participants, answer questions and address concerns, and guide program requirements and expectations.
5. Communicate with marketing team around program marketing and outreach efforts, such as social media and campaign email marketing.
6. Handle administrative tasks related to the program, such as scheduling meetings, maintaining program databases, and tracking expenses.
7. Assist with monitoring program progress and outcomes, tracking metrics such as program completion rates and participant satisfaction levels.

Qualifications

• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for helping young people and a commitment to equity and inclusion
• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, entrepreneurship, social work, education, or psychology will be an asset.
• Experience working with youth, preferably in a community-based setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
