We are now hiring a Sales Training Manager!


Position Summary:


The Sales Training Manager will design, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive sales training programs to align with the company's objectives and sales strategies. Using proven experience as a sales trainer, the Sales Training Manager will develop material to cover a wide range of sales topics including product knowledge, effective communication, negotiation skills, customer relationship management, and handling objections. Working closely with the sales team, this position will also provide ongoing support to the sales team including follow-up sessions, individual coaching and mentoring, and organizing skill enhancement workshops to offer support and contribute to the growth and success of the Street Sales team.


Schedule Details: Monday - Friday


Key Responsibilities:


  • Create flexible and accessible online training.
  • Establish training sessions focused on Brand, Focus Category, Products, Territory, and Commission management
  • Deliver an effective training process with supporting materials that yield measurable results in the short and long term.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness by developing metrics to measure sales staff's understanding, retention, and demonstrated business results before and after training sessions.
  • Perform any additional duties as instructed by the Senior Business Development Manager.
  • Develop training sessions for all sales meetings, which incorporate valuable educational components for sales team.
  • Conduct in-field assessments with sales team to identify areas for development and provide targeted training solutions to improve skill sets and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with vendors to provide high-quality product training to sales representatives.
  • Collaborate with sales management team to continuously develop and facilitate the onboarding programs for new sales hires, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Formulate training programs and schedules based on identified training needs, company processes, business systems, and changes in products, procedures, or services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market dynamics to ensure training programs are relevant and effective.
  • Coordinate and deliver both classroom-style and in-field training sessions, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques
  • Continually evaluate and refine training methods to maximize impact and effectiveness.
  • Drive adoption and utilization of our CRM analytics tool, Enterprise Café with sales team and align training efforts with the company's forecast and goals.


Qualifications:


  • Flexible to adapt and accommodate different learning styles and environments.
  • Effective leadership skills for coaching and mentoring required.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills required.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and technology-enabled training methods.
  • Strong knowledge of sales methodologies, techniques, and best practices required.
  • Experience creating engaging and interactive training materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving sales performance.
  • 2-5 years of previous experience as a sales trainer or in a sales training role required.
  • Previous experience within the Food Service industry and knowledge of products preferred.
  • Previous experience using Enterprise Café and CRM preferred.
