Four Seasons Resort Whistler is located at the foot of Blackcomb and Whistler. The resort is a five-minute walk to the ski lifts and a 10-minute stroll to the village center, making it the perfect location for a rustic adventure any time of year.

Our guest rooms are spacious, beautifully re-styled in December 2019, the refurbished rooms and suites pay close attention to the unique placement of Whistler – a secluded retreat, just an hour and a half away from the international destination of Vancouver.

In December 2020, we completed a property-wide enhancement with the launch of Braidwood Tavern, a craft kitchen and social house conceived in collaboration with celebrated chef and restauranteur Richard Sandoval, along with a re-imagined SIDECUT Steakhouse, both designed by Box Interior Design.

Your Job

The Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is looking for a Sales Manager who will be focusing on the US market, who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do.

The Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales. We are looking for an energetic, hospitality professional with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, have a passion for service and people.

We invite candidates with passion for travel and mountain adventure, someone who can tell a story and make clients fall in love with a destination or an experience.

This person will be a member of a dynamic team who provides unparalleled experiences to our guests. This position hosts our top clients from group and leisure segments visiting FSWHI, while drives strong prospecting efforts and pursues group conversation from all regions.

The Sales Manager will actively plan and conduct site inspections and host FAM Trips with crafted itineraries to ensure our clients understand the essence of Whistler.

The storytelling is a key factor for this purpose and the Sales Manager will leverage our unique selling proposition at every interaction.

In This Role

• Minimum 2 to 3 years in hotel sales with experience in groups and leisure segments.
• Proactive seller with strong prospecting ability in both leisure and group markets
• Leverages personal relations with agency owners and top producers to create demand in need periods
• The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience in a hotel sales capacity in a luxury environment.
• Previous experience with luxury brands required
• Ability to consistently work well under pressure and manage time effectively
• Leverages social media channels to keep present and relevant within the industry
• Plan and execute in-market entertaining and sales calls
• Strong communication and entertaining skills
