- The Motors Insurance Corporation (MIC) Account Executive - Sales, reporting to the MIC Area Sales Manager, is responsible for the direct/indirect sales promotion of all products that fall under the MIC/GM/Subaru umbrella. Responsibilities include working with all dealer personnel who are impacted by MIC/GM/Subaru products, creation and sharing of sales information to appropriate dealership staff and follow-up of dealership to ensure correct procedures are followed for reporting of products sold.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada, mobile and willing to live in the Greater Vancouver / Lower Mainland area for this Work from Home/Remote role with travel throughout the Province of British Columbia.
- Analyze statistical reports and data to monitor and manage dealer account performance for maximum throughput and counsel dealers on best practices to maximize returns in the F&I, Used Car and Service Departments (MIC, GMPP/SPP, CPO sales and loss reports, FACTS 2.0 composite reports).
- Develop and execute annual territory plan to include identification of target conquest accounts and target performance accounts for focused activity to acquire new business or drive performance improvements relative to GMPP/SPP and CPO.
- Monitor Reconditioning expense relative to the market area
- Assess Key Used Vehicle Department Performance Metrics relative to market area
- Generally, be the ‘face’ of CPO and GMPP/SPP programs to GM/Subaru dealerships.
- Manage sales activity and provide essential training in all departments at GM/Subaru dealerships relating to Vehicle Service Contracts and CPO programs (Used Vehicle Dept., F&I Dept., Sales, Service, Accounting) through regular value-added contacts to occur within 60-day intervals.
- Ensure Proper Certification/Inspection process is in place at dealerships
- Perform an annual Standards Evaluation at CPO dealerships to assess dealership performance and adherence to GM CPO standards and prescribed processes.
- Manage all warranty exceptions with appropriate communication to affected parties and business partners.
- Assist GM/Subaru sales personnel and serve as a resource providing mechanical products and processing training expertise. Serve as a subject matter expert relative to GMPP/SPP/CPO/Tire/Maintenance products.
- Assist dealerships in managing their CPO Co-op advertising budget and related processes.
- Ability to develop business relationships with dealer principles and decision makers
- Assist with local marketing campaigns
- Ability to work independently or in a Team setting
- High level of accountability and ability to effectively prioritize tasks
- Must be eligible to work in Canada, mobile and willing to live in the Greater Vancouver / Lower Mainland Area for this Work from Home/Remote role with travel throughout the Province of British Columbia.
- Strong F&I sales skills required
- Well-developed business management, presentation and relationship selling skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to objectively manage conflicting priorities
- Ability to work with PC applications and menu selling systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Dealership operations and insurance product knowledge preferred
- Sales training experience desired
- Strong customer service skills
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Business related undergraduate degree is preferred as well as industry designations.
