Mining / Engineering Recruiter (Rpo)

Globe 24-7 is looking to hire a Recruitment Consultant, to support a RPO project for a mining company based in Canada. Ideally your home base should be within Canada time zones. The role will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment life cycle, and provide proactive and effective candidate sourcing working within a multidisciplinary team. This role is responsible for candidate sourcing and client relationship management only.

The Role

Responsibilities include the full life cycle of recruitment activity, including but not limited to:

• Assisting in the creation and modifications of job descriptions and adverts as and when required
• Tracking candidates previously interviewed and selected by clients
• Creating talent pipelines / pools based on client forecasts
• Communicating with Hiring Leaders on recruitment progress
• Filtering candidates according to established profiles, often technical in nature
• Presentation of weekly progress reports and creation of weekly work plans
• Interviewing selected candidates
• ATS updates and recruitment administration
• Conducting candidates searches utilising ATS systems and candidate search engines

The Requirements

As a successful candidate it is essential that you possess the following skills, experience and competencies:

• Strong communication skills
• Previous experience recruiting internationally (desirable only)
• Flexible to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end recruitment life cycle and related activities
• French language skills
• Background recruiting into technical industries and covering technical job vacancies is essential (e.g. Mining, Oil & Gas, Energy)
• Excellent organisational skills
