Geotab is seeking a Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing segment marketing campaign strategy aligned with business objectives to drive growth. What You’ll Do


As a Marketing Manager, Commercial Segment you will focus on account based marketing and full funnel marketing to deliver against conversion objectives, promote existing and new solutions within their segment marketing program to address prospective customer needs and pain-points, and quarterback all lead sources while working closely with sales to manage opportunity and revenue pipeline. You will partner with sales to create and execute segment and account-specific growth strategies and plans to increase segment penetration, build brand equity, drive improved win rate, and stand out from the competition. Additionally, you will manage budget, optimize spending, conduct marketing ROI analysis to adjust strategy, and track performance against KPAs.


How You’ll Make An Impact


  • Work with Marketing Automation and Sales Operations teams to develop digital nurturing campaigns optimizing marketing qualification methodology for pass-thru of leads to resellers/channel partners.
  • Develop, maintain and promote consistent positioning, nomenclature and brand messaging for verticals across the buyer personas and customer journeys.
  • Identify marketing strategy by target account and industry verticals to establish long term (1 to 3 years) marketing objectives along with short term (Quarterly) tactics.
  • Partner with Enterprise Solutions sales team, Product Marketing, and the broader organization to develop a strong command of sales pipeline, strategic business objectives, revenue targets, product roadmap and overall impact of marketing strategy, and budgets.
  • Track, analyze and report on campaign performance and marketing budgets on a regular basis always aiming to optimize.
  • Develop integrated marketing campaigns by collaborating with internal teams to successfully execute segment activity including advertising planning (media, creative and content), PR, product launches, events, and reseller/channel campaigns and programs.
  • Lead quarterly and annual marketing planning at segment level to achieve business objectives and track against KPAs and establish go-forward actions, including opportunities to exploit and counter measures to deploy.


What You’ll Bring To This Role


  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing, B2B tech preferred.
  • Data-driven and analytical approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Proficient in account-based marketing (ABM) and targeting high value prospects with experience working in ABM platforms such as 6sense, Demandbase or Zoominfo preferred.
  • 5-8 years experience in identifying target segments and audiences to deliver business growth.
  • Demonstrated marketing strategy development and execution with measurable outcomes.
  • Understanding of Commercial Vehicle and related industries (Field Services and Speciality ) considered an asset
