Summary

The Marketing Event Coordinator will work alongside the Marketing and Sales teams, and our Technology Partners to grow our footprint, brand awareness, and revenues. This role primarily assists in delivering GoSecure’s events with, including our annual conference GoSec, and assist with our presence in local events in Canada and the US.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Initiate and plan the communication plan for each event.
• Liaise with the team during the event, on-site or virtual, to support, control and ensure a smooth experience.
• Translate marketing communications and documents.
• Planning and overseeing events throughout the entire lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closure.
• Ensure that the brand standards are respected and that GoSecure is well represented.
• Ensure that the reporting is accurate and up to date.
• Execute and support deployments with other departments, such as the Marketing team and the Sales team.
• Post-event planning with partners and/or organizers (communications, coordination, etc.)
• Other duties as required.
• Ensure event completeness in a timely fashion and within budget.
• Maintain an overview of all events to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements And Experience

• High interest in learning about cybersecurity.
• Excellent analysis skills.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or college diploma from a related program or PM certification would be an asset.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• 2 years of professional experience in project management, marketing, communication, event management or in another relevant domain.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), Marketing, or Communication related field and/or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Energetic and positive with a “can do” attitude.
• Superior knowledge of English and French language, both verbal and written.

August 2023 through September 2024

Sommaire

Le coordinateur d'événements marketing travaillera avec les équipes marketing et commerciales, ainsi qu'avec nos partenaires technologiques, afin d'accroître notre présence, notre notoriété et notre chiffre d'affaires. Ce rôle consiste principalement à aider à la réalisation des événements de GoSecure, y compris notre conférence annuelle GoSec, et à aider à notre présence lors d'événements locaux au Canada et aux États-Unis.

Fonctions et responsabilités

Planification post-événement avec les partenaires et/ou les organisateurs (communications, coordination, etc.)

Planifier et superviser des événements tout au long de leur cycle de vie : initiation, planification, exécution, suivi et contrôle, et clôture.

Initier et planifier le plan de communication pour chaque événement.

Veiller à ce que les événements soient terminés dans les délais impartis et dans le respect du budget.

Veiller à ce que les normes de la marque soient respectées et que GoSecure soit bien représenté.

Exécuter et soutenir les déploiements avec d'autres départements, tels que l'équipe marketing et l'équipe commerciale.

Assurer la liaison avec l'équipe pendant l'événement, sur site ou virtuel, pour soutenir, contrôler et garantir une expérience sans heurts.

Garder une vue d'ensemble de tous les événements afin d'améliorer l'efficacité et l'efficience.

Traduire les communications et les documents marketing.

Veiller à ce que les rapports soient exacts et à jour.

Effectuer d'autres tâches en fonction des besoins.

Qualifications

Plus de 2 ans d'expérience pertinente.

Baccalauréat en administration des affaires (BBA), en marketing ou dans un domaine lié à la communication et/ou formation/expérience équivalente.

Professionnel de la gestion de projet (PMP) ou diplôme d'études collégiales d'un programme connexe ou certification en gestion de projet serait un atout.

Connaissance approfondie de l'anglais et du français, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.

2 ans d'expérience professionnelle en gestion de projet, marketing, communication, gestion d'événements ou dans un autre domaine pertinent.

Grand intérêt pour la cybersécurité.

Excellentes capacités d'analyse.

Un sens exceptionnel de l'organisation.

Capacité à travailler de manière indépendante et à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément.

Énergique et positif, avec une attitude positive.
