Infrastructure Business Analyst Jobs

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an IT Infrastructure Business Analyst to help our client build and supporting their multi-cloud environment. The successful candidate will be an experienced IT professional with expertise in how IT manages mission critical IT workloads. A strong understanding of ITIL and adapting ITIL to cloud workloads and processes is required.

Responsibilities:

• Abstracting up low-level technical information to a high-level general understanding
• Requirements elicitation, analysis and management
• Develop technical requirements for IT tools and processes
• Design, test planning and hand-over to support
• Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources
• Reconciling conflicting requirements
• Business process mapping of current state and desired state
• Needs of clients and stakeholders
• Monitoring and analyzing potential impacts to requirements and technical scope
• In developing and validating test plans
• Identifying, evaluating and having a clear understanding of the high-level
• Business requirements to detailed technical requirements with fluency to enable IT technical teams
• Creation and update of requirements traceability matrix against solution
• Technical analysis and preparing presentation of recommendation to management

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience working as an Infrastructure Business Analyst
• Exceptional level of professionalism; personable, approachable, courteous
• Highly adaptable and able to work in a fast paced priority driven environment
• 10+ years of experience working in IT
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to produce concise, structured and well written documents and reports
• Self-starter, proactive and solution oriented
• Experience working within a healthcare environment is preferred
• Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail including an awareness of downstream effects of actions
• Ability to adapt to change and tolerate high stress levels
• Experience with complex Information Technology (IT) projects
• Ability to work independently to meet deliverables and solve problems
