Insight Global is looking for a Senior Quality Analyst to join our client in Vancouver. The ideal candidate will be well-versed software quality assurance strategies as well as the implementation of test environments. They should be very experienced in writing complex sql queries and be confident working within ETL processes. They will be testing what other teams have developed as well as data and test reports (ensuring the data from the report is matching what is in the source). This resource will be supporting the implementation of a new ERP system.

Responsibilities Include:

- Providing testing and validation services for entire program

- Working with various different units to ensure all business requirements are met

- Prepares testing processes, procedures, and trainings

- Develops test plans, cases, and scripts for all levels of testing

Must-haves

- 4+ years of software testing or QA experience

- Excellent communication to work across technical and non-technical teams as well as to coach other members of the team – must be clear and concise

- Ability to write complex SQL Queries

- Expert knowledge on ETL processes

- Understanding of testing management and defect tools as well as reporting

- Ability to write and complete test cases

- Bug and defect solutioning

- Agile and waterfall

Plusses

- Hands on experience working with informatica

- Experience working within a data warehouse environment

- Experience with ERM, HCM, or OCM systems

- ISTQB, QAI, PMI-RMP, ASQ, Six Sigma
